Quirky Yurts are a husband-and-wife team living locally on our family farm in East Lothian. We recently purchased our beautiful handmade 22ft Yurt that we were fortunate enough to get married in and now wish to share the experience with others.

What is a Quirky Yurt?

A traditional Yurt is a portable round tent. The structure consists of an angled assembly or lattice work of wood, they were traditionally used as portable homes and ours is now offered as a unique event space. Ours is a beautiful handmade traditional steam bent structure and is 22ft in size. Yurts are extremely robust and built to withstand extreme weather conditions.

Quirky Yurts: Enhancing Your Event Experience

Can host a variety of events such as wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, formal sit-down meals, corporate events and retreats such as Yoga workshops or themed events.

The Yurt can comfortably seat up to 40 for a sit-down meal and more for an informal set up.

The Yurt can be dressed to suit all events and budgets, we work alongside event company Beautifully Covered.

The Yurt can come with a Wood Burning Stove allowing the space to be used all year round.

Yurts are built for all weathers and are extremely robust.
